Kit Digital Guide 2026 — How to Apply for Your Voucher

The Kit Digital programme offers vouchers of up to €29,000 to digitalise your business. We explain who can apply, what solutions it funds and how to complete the process step by step.

What is Kit Digital?

Kit Digital is a Spanish Government subsidy programme, funded by European funds under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (NextGenerationEU), designed to drive the digitalisation of small businesses, micro-enterprises and self-employed workers.

Unlike other subsidies, the Kit Digital voucher is not paid in cash: it is redeemed directly for technological solutions from accredited digitising agents. The beneficiary company chooses the solutions it needs from the official catalogue, contracts the agent, and the voucher covers the full or partial cost of implementation.

The programme's calls remain open in 2026 for all segments. Funds are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is advisable to apply as soon as possible.

Voucher amounts by company segment

The voucher amount depends on the number of employees on the payroll at the time of application.

I

Segment I

How to apply for the voucher — Step by step

01

Register on Acelera Pyme

Visit acelerapyme.gob.es and create your company account using a digital certificate or Cl@ve. Complete the digital self-assessment test (mandatory). This test does not affect your score — it simply certifies that you have carried out the self-evaluation.

02

Apply for the Kit Digital voucher

Once the test is complete, fill in the voucher application form on the Red.es electronic portal. You will need the NIF, company details and information about size (number of employees). The award decision typically arrives within 4–8 weeks.

03

Choose the digitising agent

With the voucher awarded, access the official catalogue of accredited digitising agents on the Acelera Pyme platform. Filter by solution category and compare proposals. Negotiate the offer and sign the digital solutions provision agreement with your chosen agent.

04

Solution implementation

The digitising agent implements the contracted solution at your company. The implementation timeline varies by category (typically between 1 and 6 months). During this period, the agent must provide evidence of correct deployment.

05

Justification and payment

Once implementation is complete, the digitising agent uploads the justification documentation to the platform. Following validation by Red.es, the voucher amount is paid directly to the agent. If the cost exceeds the voucher, you pay the difference directly to the agent.

2026 Deadlines

Kit Digital calls are structured by segment and remain open on a rolling basis until available funds are exhausted. In 2026, calls are still active for all segments (I to V).

Once the voucher is awarded, the beneficiary has 6 months to sign the agreement with the digitising agent and 12 additional months to implement and justify the solution.

As funds are limited and allocated in chronological order of application, it is strongly recommended not to delay the process. Award decisions are currently being resolved in approximately 4–8 weeks from the date of application.

Common mistakes and how to avoid them

Errors in the application process can result in losing the voucher or being required to repay the aid received.

!

Not verifying compliance status with AEAT and TGSS before applying

Any outstanding debt with the Tax Agency or Social Security will block the grant, even if the amount is minimal.

How to avoid it: Request a certificate of good standing before initiating the application process.

!

Confusing an accredited digitising agent with a free supplier

The voucher can only be redeemed with digitising agents officially accredited in the Acelera Pyme catalogue.

How to avoid it: Check the official catalogue at acelerapyme.gob.es before contracting any solution.

!

Failing to keep justification documentation

Grants may be subject to subsequent audit. If you cannot prove implementation, you will be required to return the amount.

How to avoid it: Keep all contracts, invoices, screenshots and evidence of use for at least 5 years.

!

Exceeding the de minimis limit unknowingly

Kit Digital is a de minimis aid. If you have received other public aid in the last 3 years, you may exceed the €300,000 ceiling.

How to avoid it: Review all subsidies, subsidised loans and public aid received since 2023.

!

Contracting ineligible solutions

Some companies offer solutions that are not in the catalogue or do not meet the programme's minimum requirements.

How to avoid it: Always verify that both the solution and the digitising agent are officially accredited.
