The Food Information and Control Agency is establishing its Tendering Board to manage contract award procedures, in accordance with Article 326 of Law 9/2017 and Articles 21 and 22 of Royal Decree 817/2009. This resolution repeals the Agency's previous regulations (Resolution of 22 April 2021) to update its organisational structure regarding public procurement.

In 3 key points

  1. Establishment of the Tendering Board for the management of award procedures (Resolución de 24 de abril de 2026)
  2. The resolution's effects come into force on 7 May 2026 (ANALISIS)
  3. Repeal of the Resolution of 22 April 2021 (ref. indice BOE)

How it affects those involved

For bidders and suppliers of the Food Information and Control Agency, the regulation establishes the new organisational framework under which their procurement files will be processed. While it does not directly modify bidding rules, it defines the body responsible for contract awards and process management (Resolution of 24 April 2026).
