Summary
The April 16, 2026 Resolution establishes the new reference price index system for rental housing, to be applied from May 1, 2026 (art. 1). This system replaces the previous one and is based on transparency and publicity as provided in the second additional provision of Real Decreto-ley 7/2019. Landlords must apply these indices from that date to adjust rents in new contracts.
