Seafarers: update to training and certification standards following IMO amendments

The 2023 amendments to Part A of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW Code) have been adopted, as approved by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) through Resolution MSC.541(107). These modifications update the training and certification framework for crew members in compliance with the 1978 Convention.
