Royal Decree 315/2026 amends Article 26.1 of RD 188/2025, establishing a 30-day period for entities applying for international cooperation aid to adapt their applications to new submission criteria. This change aims to improve transparency and efficiency in the application evaluation process by aligning it with the regulations of Law 1/2023 and Law 38/2003. The amendment applies to all applications submitted from the date the royal decree enters into force.
Non-governmental organisations, cooperation entities, and companies applying for international aid must review and adapt their applications within 30 days of the decree's entry into force. Project managers and advisors must ensure that applications comply with the new requirements. Public administrations and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation will be able to evaluate applications with greater precision and efficiency.
