The public business entity ENAIRE has signed an agreement with the Polytechnic University of Madrid to establish a Chair focused on the development of air traffic management services and systems. This agreement aims to promote scientific and technological innovation within the airport sector, contributing to the public interest and academic training (Art. 48.8 Law 40/2015). The agreement is published in the BOE as an annex to the resolution of 3 March 2026.
Universities and training centres may benefit from direct collaborations with ENAIRE for air traffic research projects. Airport sector professionals and students will gain access to new training and technological development opportunities. Public administrations will receive added value in technological innovation and air traffic management.
