Democratic Memory Entities: mandatory State Registry registration for aid extended until 9 October 2026

Order TMD/323/2026 extends for six months the deadline for registration in the State Registry of Democratic Memory Entities to be a mandatory requirement for accessing grants from the General State Administration (ref. BOE index). This measure extends the exception established in Royal Decree 265/2025, allowing entities to continue applying for aid without this registration until the new deadline (ref. BOE index).

In 2 key points

  1. Extension of the requirement to register in the State Registry until 9 October 2026 (ref. indice BOE)
  2. The measure affects the procedures for granting aid or subsidies regarding democratic memory from the General State Administration (Título oficial)

How it affects those involved

For entities applying for aid or grants regarding democratic memory, immediate exclusion due to lack of registration in the State Registry is avoided, providing time to regularise their status (ref. BOE index). The exemption period is moved from the previous period until 9 October 2026 (ref. BOE index).
