This resolution amends the National Catalogue of Base Materials following authorisation from the Government of Catalonia. The newly registered materials are located in the Pre-Pyrenees and Catalan Coastal areas.
For producers of forest reproductive material (FRM) working with the Pinus radiata species in Catalonia, this resolution enables the use of newly registered base materials (Art. 7.2 RD 289/2003). This expands the available seed sources for the production of 'identified' category material in the Barcelona and Girona regions.
