The Ceuta Port Authority is amending Article 9 of its Board of Directors Regulations to clarify the procedures for replacing the President. The Vice-President may substitute for the President in instances of vacancy, absence, illness, abstention, or recusal, and shall also perform any delegated duties (Art. 9).

In 2 key points

  1. The Vice-President shall substitute for the President in cases of vacancy, absence, or illness (art. 9)
  2. Substitution also applies in cases of abstention or recusal of the President (art. 9)

How it affects those involved

This amendment is purely an internal organisational measure for the Ceuta Port Authority, regulating governance continuity in the event the President is unable to act (Art. 9). It does not affect third-party rights or impose new obligations on companies or individuals.
