The State Secretariat for Transport and Sustainable Mobility has authorised the company "Apave Inspection Spain, SA" to act as a collaborating entity for the inspection of recreational craft throughout the national territory (Resolution of 26 February 2026). This authorisation follows the change of corporate name of the previously authorised entity, "Eurocontrol, SA", and the transfer of its accreditation by ENAC (Articles 6 and 7 of Royal Decree 1434/1999).

In 2 key points

  1. Authorisation to act as a collaborating entity for recreational craft inspections throughout the State's territory (Resolución de 26 de febrero de 2026)
  2. Obligation to provide monthly inspection data (vessel, location, date and inspector) to the Directorate General of the Merchant Marine (art. 8.d del Real Decreto 1434/1999)
