Businesses and individuals: 1 month to update official exchange rates in financial records

The Bank of Spain publishes official exchange rates for the euro as of March 19, 2026, in accordance with Article 36 of Law 46/1998. These rates replace previous ones and must be incorporated into financial records and international transactions. The change affects all users conducting foreign exchange operations, especially in current accounts, international payments, or invoicing. The rates are fixed and cannot be modified by the Bank of Spain prior to official publication.
