Businesses and individuals: 1 month to update official exchange rates in financial records

The Bank of Spain publishes official exchange rates for the euro as of March 13, 2026, in accordance with Article 36 of Law 46/1998. These rates replace previous ones and must be incorporated into financial records and international trade operations. The change affects all users of foreign currencies in Spain, especially in international trade or accounting. The rates are considered official from publication date and must be updated in financial records within one month.
