Telecom Engineers College to manage digital training subsidy within 30 days

Red.es, a public enterprise, publishes a deal with the Official College of Telecom Engineers to manage a subsidy for digital training in professional colleges. This agreement is based on Royal Decree 876/2024 and published under Article 48.8 of Law 40/2015. The agreement enables the College to manage the training programme in line with public sector regulations.

In 2 key points

  1. The COIT manages the digital training funding for professional colleges (art. 48.8 Ley 40/2015)
  2. Agreement signed on 29 January 2026 between Red.es and COIT (fecha 29 de enero de 2026)

How it affects those involved

Telecommunications engineers and the affected professional colleges gain a more direct channel for accessing digital training funding. Public administrations reduce administrative burdens by delegating the process to a professional college. Training advisors must be kept informed about the new management channel and the programme execution deadlines.
