Food companies to adapt labelling and quality standards within three months

Royal Decree 142/2026 repeals RD 1045/1990 and amends rules on food additives, labelling and quality (art. 1.3, annex I.B, art. 3, 5, 11.2, etc.). New articles (24 and 25) are added to RD 474/2014 and others (art. 9, 18, 23 of RD 1011/1981) are removed. The changes directly impact how food products are labelled and marketed.
