Companies with over 10 workers to switch to digital shift records by March 2026 or face up to €7,500 per worker fines

Royal Decree 139/2026 updates Article 13.1 of Royal Decree 434/1988, setting a three-month deadline for businesses with more than 10 employees to convert their shift records to electronic format. Failure to comply may result in fines of up to €7,500 per worker. This change aims to modernise administrative management and enhance transparency in shift tracking.
