For vessels using gear other than trawling or purse seining with a home port in Lugo, an adapted quota of 177,922 kg has been set (First). Of this total, 90% (160,129.80 kg) is allocated to directed fishing and 10% (17,792.20 kg) to bycatch (Second).
Shipowners and crews of other gear vessels based in Lugo have a specific quota for the 2026 campaign, which may be adjusted following the final closing of 2025 consumption data (Second). The fishery will commence at 00:00 on the day following the publication of the resolution (First) and will close automatically once the amount allocated for directed fishing is exhausted (Fourth).
