This resolution corrects errors in a prior publication and establishes the adaptation of personal assistance and home care services for people with ALS or complex diseases with irreversible course, in accordance with Law 3/2024. It is based on the Agreement of the Territorial Council of Social Services dated 9 December 2025, and applies to beneficiaries of Law 3/2024 (arts. 19 and 23 of Law 39/2006). The aim is to improve quality of life through personalized services.
For individuals with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or highly complex diseases, more appropriate access to personalised services and home care is guaranteed. Social services administrations must update their care protocols to include these adaptations. Advisors and families must be informed about the new provision criteria. The change does not involve direct costs but requires the reorganisation of existing services.
