The Collective Agreement of Consum, a Valencian consumer cooperative, amends Article 34.2 to include new working conditions in commercial establishments. The agreement is effective from 1 February 2026 until 31 January 2029, with the possibility of extension. This update affects consumer cooperatives and their employees, and is applied in accordance with the Workers' Statute and Royal Decree 713/2010.
For consumer cooperatives, a new labour framework is introduced in commercial establishments, which may modify working hours or remuneration conditions. Workers may see changes to their employment rights from 1 February. Advisors must review the new Article 34.2 to ensure that contracts and agreements are aligned with the collective agreement. Local authorities must update their labour records.
