Petrol station companies: application of the new state-wide collective agreement valid until 31 December 2027

The State-wide Collective Agreement for Petrol Stations, signed by CEEES, AEVECAR, CC.OO. and UGT-FICA, has been registered and published (art. 1). The agreement regulates working conditions in fuel and lubricant operations, as well as complementary activities such as car washing, greasing, or convenience stores (art. 3). Its term of validity runs from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2027 (art. 4).

In 3 key points

  1. Validity of the agreement from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2027, art. 4. (art. 4)
  2. Maximum duration of 12 months for contracts due to production circumstances, art. 10. (art. 10)
  3. Prohibition of permanent temporary contracting to cover vacancies resulting from redundancies, except for training contracts, art. 9. (art. 9)

How it affects those involved

For companies in the sector (operators of petrol stations and complementary activities), the agreement establishes a state-wide regulatory framework (art. 2 and 3). Companies must comply with the prohibition on using permanent temporary contracting to cover redundancies, except for training contracts (art. 9). Contracts due to production circumstances are limited to a maximum duration of 12 months (art. 10).
