This Order amends the regulations regarding complementary specialties of the Military Medical Corps to integrate new medical and technical qualifications. It incorporates the Emergency and Urgent Medicine specialty and establishes integration processes for specialists in Clinical Analysis, Clinical Laboratory, Surgery and Implantable Prosthetics, and Endodontics (ref. BOE index).
For Clinical Analysis (ANC) specialists within the Military Medical Corps, their current designation will be maintained until the Ministry of Health approves the Clinical Laboratory (LCL) programme, at which point they will be integrated (fourth transitional provision). Specialists in Surgery and Implantable Prosthetics (CPI) and Endodontics (END) within Dentistry will be integrated into the new Oral Surgery (CIB) and Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics (OCE) specialties respectively, while maintaining their current functions (fifth transitional provision).
