Ministry of Transport and Almería Provincial Council: transfer of ownership of sections of the AL-5106 and AL-3106 roads

The Royal Decree amends the State Road Network to incorporate a section of the AL-5106 road (PK 11+290 to 13+556) into the state network, as it serves as an access route to the Port of Carboneras (art. 1). Simultaneously, a section of the AL-3106 road (PK 4+000 to 5+400) is removed from the state network, with ownership transferring to the Provincial Council of Almería (art. 1). This change is based on a mutual agreement between both administrations and does not involve any transfer of capital (art. 1).

In 3 key points

  1. The transfer of ownership will take full effect from the date the royal decree enters into force (art. 2). (art. 2)
  2. The formalisation via a handover certificate must be signed within one month (art. 2). (art. 2)
  3. Effectiveness occurs on the day following its publication in the BOE (sole final provision). (disp. final única)

How it affects those involved

For the General State Administration, a key section for port connectivity is integrated into the Road Network (art. 1). For the Provincial Council of Almería, it assumes the management and maintenance of the AL-3106 section and must proceed with the administrative removal of the AL-5106 section from its catalogue (sole final provision). The transfer of ownership takes effect from the date the Royal Decree enters into force (art. 2).
