The Guadiana Hydrographic Confederation is amending navigation restrictions in two areas of its basin. In the urban stretch of Badajoz, the total ban is lifted for users federated with clubs recognised by the FEXP, provided they comply with strict safety measures (art. a). In the Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park, navigation is temporarily prohibited in the canal between UTM coordinates X 513812, Y 4309145 and X 513815, Y 4309247 due to collapse risks (art. b).
For canoeing clubs and federated users in Badajoz, rowing-based nautical activities may resume, subject to the presence of instructors for minors or novices and the use of life jackets (art. a). For recreational users in Lagunas de Ruidera, a total navigation ban is imposed on the specific canal stretch due to the risk of falling walls or trees (art. b). Special activities, such as fishing competitions, require a 15-day prior application (art. 4).
