Approval of the vessel Esperanza del Mar as a training ship for Merchant Navy professional qualification practical training

The Directorate General of the Merchant Navy has approved the vessel Esperanza del Mar, owned by the Instituto Social de la Marina, as a training ship for practical training valid for obtaining professional qualifications (Art. 1). This approval allows for the validation of sea service periods for deck and engine officers, under the framework of the STCW Code and Royal Decree 269/2022 (Art. 1). This approval is of indefinite validity, unless the conditions that led to its approval change (Art. 2).
