Spain and the UK establish a joint Working Group to implement the Gibraltar agreement

This Administrative Agreement establishes the practical mechanisms for implementing the agreement between the European Union and the United Kingdom regarding Gibraltar (ref. agreement of 14 July 2026). A joint Working Group is created to coordinate cooperation, information exchange, and to oversee the movement of people and goods (Art. 2.1 and 2.2). The agreement does not alter the legal positions on sovereignty or jurisdiction of any of the participants.
