The Directorate General for Industry of the Generalitat de Catalunya has resolved to extend the authorisation for the use and installation in the electricity grid of the RS ISOLSEC brand voltage transformer, model E/U52G, in favour of RS ISOLSEC, SL. This resolution is based on the Unified Regulation of Measurement Points of the Electricity System (Royal Decree 1110/2007). The authorisation covers primary voltages ranging from 5500/√3 to 46200 V and various accuracy classes (Art. 1).
For RS ISOLSEC, SL, the resolution ensures the commercial continuity of its E/U52G transformer model within the medium voltage market in Catalonia. The authorisation is valid for a maximum of five years, subject to the potential application of new electricity measurement regulations (Art. 2.1). Users of this equipment must ensure that, prior to installation, the instruments pass an initial verification inspection by an officially authorised inspector (Art. 2.2).
