The Directorate General for Energy Planning and Coordination has authorised the type approval of the AMD Color Sorter X-ray generator, model KXA6-G Pro (marketed as Makian model M-RX1), under approval number NHM-X403. This equipment is intended for the inspection of unpackaged products and must comply with strict safety and marking specifications (1st, 3rd). The resolution is issued in accordance with Royal Decree 1217/2024 and Royal Decree 1029/2022.
For Makian Técnicas, SL, this resolution enables the type approval of the equipment, although it does not itself permit its manufacture, marketing, or radiological safety technical assistance, which require additional authorisations (7th). Users of the equipment must ensure that the dose rate at 0.1 m from the surface does not exceed 1 μSv/h and must conduct annual inspections or those following any incidents (4th).
