Autonomous Communities: €56.2 million allocated to the 2026 Reading Competence Reinforcement Programme

The Sectoral Education Conference has approved the territorial distribution of €56,211,619.00 for the 2026 Territorial Cooperation Programme for the reinforcement of reading competence (Annex). Funds are distributed among the Autonomous Communities based on criteria including the education level of the population aged 25 to 64 (60% weighting) and the proficiency rate at age 15 (Annex, point 5). The Ministry of Education will monitor and control the execution of these credits.
