UNED and UIMP: Framework for state compensation for public fee exemptions and discounts

This Order establishes the framework for compensating the National University of Distance Education (UNED) and the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP) for lost revenue resulting from exemptions and discounts applied to students (ref. BOE index). The measure is implemented in accordance with additional provision 6 of Royal Decree 163/2025 and Organic Law 2/2023 (ref. BOE index). The system aims to ensure the financial sustainability of these institutions when student exemption rights are exercised.
