Foundation for Nursing Development: accepts resignation of Qualified NGO status

The Presidency of AECID has accepted the voluntary resignation of the Foundation for Nursing Development (FUDEN) from its status as a Qualified Non-Governmental Development Organisation (NGO) (First Resolution). The entity, which had held this qualification since 5 November 2009, will be removed from the AECID NGO Registry while maintaining its registration as an NGO (Second Resolution).

In 2 key points

  1. The resignation of FUDEN from its status as a Qualified NGO is accepted (Resuelve Primero)
  2. The entity will be removed from the AECID NGO Registry without losing its registration as an NGO (Resuelve Segundo)

How it affects those involved

For FUDEN, the resolution entails the loss of its status as a Qualified NGO specialising in the health sector, meaning it will no longer hold the rights and benefits associated with such accreditation from AECID. The resolution does not affect third parties and is based on the right of withdrawal and renunciation of rights provided for in Article 94 of Law 39/2015.
