The Council of Ministers has resolved the public tender for the award of a licence for linear audiovisual television broadcasting via terrestrial hertzian waves on a national scale (Art. 1). The licence is granted to Servicios Integrados Entretenimiento Televisivo, SL for the operation of a channel on the MPE5 digital multiplex with HD resolution. The award includes the private use of the radio spectrum public domain and the obligation to comply with the commitments guaranteed in the submitted tender (Art. 2 and 3).
For Servicios Integrados Entretenimiento Televisivo, SL, the resolution grants the right to operate a state-wide high definition (HD) television channel via hertzian waves (Art. 1). The entity is legally bound to all additional commitments and obligations guaranteed in its technical and economic tender (Art. 2). The Ministry for Digital Transformation retains the authority to make technical adjustments to the assigned channels to prevent radio interference (Art. 4).
