IRPF · deducción por inversión en vivienda habitual

Deduction for investment in main residence cannot be applied to undivided shares acquired after 2012

A taxpayer inquired whether they could claim a deduction for the investment in a portion of a property allocated to them following a divorce after 2012. The Directorate General for Taxes (DGT) ruled that this new acquisition does not fall under the transitional regime and therefore does not entitle the taxpayer to the deduction.

The question raised

The DGT's ruling
