Royal Decree 302/2026 adds Chapter VII to Royal Decree 212/2002 regarding noise emissions, establishing new information obligations and measurement methods for airborne noise emitted by outdoor machinery. This change affects companies operating such machinery and requires the updating of their acoustic control procedures. Entry into force is set for 11 April 2026, with exceptions for certain Royal Decrees which will enter into force on 30 May 2026 (Art. 2, final provision 4).
