Energy and water firms: three months to adopt geothermal installation certificate

Royal Decree 2/2026 establishes a professional certificate in geothermal circuit installation and maintenance within the Energy and Water profession. Curriculum and degree offers A and B are defined according to Royal Decree 659/2023 and Organic Law 3/2022. The certificate enables training in a key technology for energy transition, with a three-month adaptation period for firms integrating it into their training programmes.
