Engineering IT Colleges to Manage Digital Training Subsidy in Six Months

Red.es, a public enterprise, signs an agreement with the Engineering IT Colleges Association to manage a subsidy for digital skills training, published in the BOE to meet transparency requirements under Article 48.8 of Law 40/2015. The programme will be overseen by the CCII to promote professional digitalisation.

In 2 key points

  1. The CCII takes over the management of the digital training subsidy in professional engineering colleges (art. 48.8 Ley 40/2015)
  2. The agreement is signed between Red.es and the CCII on 29 January 2026 (fecha 29 de enero de 2026)

How it affects those involved

The professional engineering colleges will now directly manage the digital training subsidy under CCII oversight. Professionals in the sector will gain access to more structured training programmes. Public administrations will reduce their direct involvement in subsidy management. Training advisors must update themselves on the new management channels and established deadlines.
