INSS, University of Alcalá and SER sign agreement to revise optimal temporary disability timeframes manual

The National Social Security Institute (INSS), the University of Alcalá (UAH), and the Spanish Society of Rheumatology (SER) have signed an agreement to revise the fifth edition of the manual on optimal timeframes for temporary disability (due 25 September 2026). This agreement aims to improve medical control functions regarding temporary disability benefits, pregnancy risks, and breastfeeding risks, as well as the processing of permanent disability pensions.
