The Directorate General of Labour has registered the agreement of the Joint Commission of the III State Collective Agreement for notaries and staff to set the Additional Variable A for 2026 (art. 22.2 b and c). This 1.00% increase is due to an increase of more than 1% in at least 5 of the 6 group indicators for 2025 compared to 2024. The amount is accrued on a pro rata basis over the 12 months of the year (agreement point 1.A).
For workers in the notary sector, an annual salary increase (Additional Variable A) applies, varying by group and level from EUR 151.60 to EUR 306.50 per year (agreement point 1.A). This amount is non-consolidated and is not incorporated into the salary scale, and it shall not be offset or absorbed during 2026. In the event of new hires or departures during the year, the entitlement to the variable amount will be applied proportionally to the time worked (agreement point 1.A).
