This Royal Decree regulates the direct award of a grant to the IMEC Spain Foundation for an R&D project in microelectronics and semiconductors. The project must be submitted within six months of the publication of this Royal Decree, in accordance with Article 67 of RD 887/2006 and Article 22.2.c) of Law 38/2003. The grant is part of the 'UNICO R&D-IMEC Spain' programme funded by Next Generation EU.
The IMEC Spain Foundation must act promptly to submit its R&D project before the six-month deadline. Public administrations managing the programme will be able to verify compliance with these deadlines. R&D advisors in the technology sector must ensure the project meets the requirements set out in the regulatory text. There is no direct impact on companies or individuals outside the technology sector.
