Citizens can request public information from Basque administration within 30 days

The Law 3/2026 adds an additional provision to Law 1/2012 on access to information, allowing citizens to request public data from Basque administration. This right is regulated under articles 10.2, 6 and 24 of the Organization Statute of Administration, and is published in the BOPV on 25 May 2026. The time limit for submitting a request is 30 days from the date of knowledge of the requested information.
