Community of Madrid may exercise popular action in environmental and cultural heritage crimes, with 3-month implementation period

Law 1/2026 adds Article 38 bis to Law 8/2023 on environmental crimes and cultural heritage, enabling the Community of Madrid to exercise popular action in these areas.
