IRPF · indemnización por despido

The 40% reduction must be applied when calculating withholding tax on the non-exempt portion of redundancy payments

The inquirer asks how to calculate the withholding tax on a collective redundancy payment entitled to a 40% reduction. The DGT explains that, after accounting for the exempt portion, the taxable portion must be calculated by applying said reduction to determine the applicable withholding rate.

The question raised

The DGT's ruling
