Changing bank accounts due to the death of a holder does not require regularising contribution reductions

A query was raised regarding whether changing the bank account number of a protected estate, following the death of a parent who was the account holder, affects the IRPF (Personal Income Tax) reduction regime. The DGT (General Directorate of Taxes) ruled that this change does not trigger the regularisation of tax benefits, provided that asset protection regulations are complied with.

The question raised

The DGT's ruling
