IRPF · deducción por inversión en vivienda habitual

Deduction for investment in main residence cannot be applied after losing property ownership

A taxpayer asks whether they can continue to apply the deduction for investment in their main residence after losing ownership through the dissolution of a co-ownership agreement. The Directorate General for Taxes (DGT) rules that they are no longer entitled to this deduction as they have ceased to be the owner.

The question raised

The DGT's ruling
