IRPF · exención por reinversión

Marriage does not automatically grant reinvestment exemption if it does not necessitate a change of residence

A taxpayer inquired whether they could apply the reinvestment exemption for their primary residence after selling their home before completing three years of residency, due to their intention to marry. The DGT ruled that marriage alone does not justify the exemption if the change of residence is not a mandatory necessity rather than a mere convenience.

The question raised

The DGT's ruling
