IRPF · deducción por inversión en vivienda habitual

Failure to file an income tax return due to no obligation does not prevent claiming the main residence deduction

The taxpayer asks whether they can choose not to apply the deduction for investment in their main residence in 2019 because they are not required to file a tax return. The Directorate General for Taxes (DGT) responds that not filing a return in years where there is no obligation does not prejudice the future application of said deduction.

The question raised

The DGT's ruling
