IRPF · deducción por inversión en vivienda habitual

Deduction for acquiring a new undivided share of a property is not permitted if acquired after 2012

A taxpayer inquired whether they could deduct all or half of the amounts paid after being awarded full ownership of their habitual residence following a divorce. The Directorate General for Taxes (DGT) ruled that the acquisition of this new undivided share occurred after 2012 and therefore does not qualify under the transitional regime.

The question raised

The DGT's ruling
