Unpaid wages must be attributed to the year they were due, and late payment interest as capital gains

A worker filed a legal claim for variable wages from 2009 that the company failed to pay despite having acknowledged them. The DGT ruled that wages must be taxed in the year they were due, while late payment interest must be taxed as capital gains in the year the judgment becomes final.

The question raised

Imputación temporal de dichos ingresos.

The DGT's ruling
