This Royal Decree increases the assets transferred to the Basque Country under Royal Decree 2557/1985 regarding occupational health and safety. The transfer is carried out in accordance with Article 12.2 and Transitional Provision 2 of the Statute approved by Organic Law 3/1979, and will come into force on 7 March 2026. This change allows the Basque Country to access greater resources to manage these matters.
The Basque Country will receive increased assets to manage occupational health and safety, which may improve resource allocation within its services.
