Performing Arts and Music Grant Applicants: Mandatory Use of Electronic Means for Communications and Notifications

Order CLT/1162/2026 mandates the use of electronic means for all procedures related to the granting of subsidies and aid by the Directorate-General for Performing Arts and Music. This measure aims to streamline processing and ensure transparency through the use of the General Electronic Access Point (PAGe) (Art. 5). If an application is submitted in person, the Administration will require its rectification electronically, under the risk of the application being withdrawn (Art. 5).

In 3 key points

  1. A 10-day deadline to rectify in-person applications via electronic submission upon request, under the risk of withdrawal (Art. 5). (art. 5)
  2. Entry into force on the day following its publication in the BOE (Single Final Provision). (disposición final única)
  3. Repeal of Order ECD/197/2014, which regulated electronic mandatory use within the INAEM (Single Repealing Provision). (disposición derogatoria única)

How it affects those involved

For natural and legal persons (public or private) applying for music, dance, performing arts, or touring grants, electronic communication is no longer optional but mandatory. Companies and professionals who submit applications in person have a 10-day period to rectify them electronically upon request, otherwise they risk being declared to have withdrawn or forfeited their rights (Art. 5). The use of electronic means is imperative to ensure efficiency and access to up-to-date information (Art. 5).
