Entrepreneurs and SMEs: new support and advisory points integrated into the CIRCE Network

The Ministry of Industry and Tourism and the Quijote Foundation for Transport have signed an agreement to establish Entrepreneur Support Points (PAE) within the CIRCE Network. These points will serve as information offices and electronic processing hubs to facilitate business creation and the commencement of activities (Art. 13 Law 14/2013). The objective is to expand the support network through advisory services and administrative procedure management.

In 3 key points

  1. PAEs act as information and electronic processing points for business creation and development, Art. 13 Law 14/2013. (art. 13 Ley 14/2013)
  2. PAE staff must possess expertise in commercial, labour, and tax matters, as well as SME support policies, Sixth Clause. (Cláusula Sexta)
  3. The DGEIPYME may revoke staff authorisation if a lack of necessary knowledge is evidenced, Sixth Clause. (Cláusula Sexta)

How it affects those involved

For entrepreneurs and SMEs, this measure increases the availability of physical and virtual assistance for managing business creation and cessation procedures (Art. 13 Law 14/2013). Integration into the CIRCE Network provides access to information regarding state, regional, and European Union support policies. To ensure high-quality advice, staff at these points must be qualified in commercial, labour, tax, and financing matters (Sixth Clause).
