Collaboration partner for Youth Cultural Bonus: update of remuneration and possibility of agreement extension

The Order modifies previous regulations to align the management of the Youth Cultural Bonus with the new regulatory framework of Royal Decree 401/2026. The changes allow the extension of the collaboration agreement with the managing entity (Correos) and require updates to economic remuneration to cover the new expenditure modalities and subsidised products (Art. 16 Law 38/2003).

In 2 key points

  1. The agreement may be extended by mutual agreement, without the total duration exceeding six years (Art. 16 Law 38/2003). (art. 16 Ley 38/2003)
  2. Economic remuneration must be adjusted to account for new expenditure modalities and subsidised products. (art. 13 Orden CLT/489/2024)

How it affects those involved

For the selected collaborating entity (Correos), the regulation enables the possibility of extending the collaboration agreement, provided the total duration does not exceed six years (Art. 16 Law 38/2003). Additionally, it mandates the adjustment of economic remuneration amounts to reflect the new technical structure and the range of new products in the programme. For beneficiaries, this ensures the operational continuity of the payment system in response to regulatory changes in the Youth Cultural Bonus.
